Taiwan-based Malaysian singer Fish Leong has joined the ranks of celebrity slimming ambassadors, writes LI EE KEE. 5 I& P) @) @8 H+ O6 J& p1 h
Fish Leong has become the latest in a growing line of celebrities to join the world of slimming ambassadors. At a recent press conference, she signed a two-year contract with Cenosis, a slimming centre in Singapore. Leong declined to talk about her endorsement fee, but suffice it to say that she is pleased with what was offered.

Leong came across Cenosis two years ago when she was in Singapore. She was impressed by the results she saw. Hence, when she was approached to become their celebrity ambassador, she had no qualms in agreeing. 6 a w% C7 C- G, q
Dressed in a beige dress with a plunging neckline, Leong, who had just flown in from Taiwan, revealed: “My aim was not so much to lose weight but to tone and firm my thighs and waist.” She lost 13cm with Cenosis and is now, as she excitedly announced, a dainty 43kg compared to her previous weight of 46kg.
+ }& t" I# n3 ~3 N8 H7 ~: w% BLike millions of women all over the world, the 26-year-old has tried her hands at various weight-loss programmes. She has even put herself on a vegetable salad diet but found herself weak as a result.
) t! d) a' M8 Y/ TLooking radiant, the Malaysian disclosed that her ideal measurements are 58cm for the waist, 81cm hips and 85B top. + w4 \1 a0 l, X6 X! e% p
When asked if she has attained the perfect figure, she laughingly said: “I am not saying anything. It is too embarrassing.” 1 k5 ?; M. t1 R m5 Y
In Leong’s view, Michelle Reis and Shu Qi have the perfect figure.

What about David Tao, whom she has in recent weeks spoken admiringly of? 3 {7 b2 ]5 C1 x
“We will let nature take its course. We do keep in touch, talking on the phone and through letters. This time we just worked together on one song, Wo Dou Zhi Dao (I Also Know). Hopefully, the next time I can sing more of his compositions and have him as producer.
